I had a first attempt at flipping. Then I added a glass-like filter with masked eyes so they stay clear. I think this is some monster from my dreams. :)

I do have trouble keeping a perfect edge between mirrored images. Thanks for looking

Akos, It does look like a monster! The eyes look good and I can make out a nose and mouth. The glass has made for an interesting treatment!!

Oh my......a cookie monster it is. I'm going to have to look into this "flipping"........certainly creates interesting images. Well done.

This certainly looks like an alien :)

I like the texture and clear eyes and I think you did pretty well with the edges.

Thank you kind ladies. :) I attached the one without the glass treatment. Which do you feel has more oooompf? I cropped a little tight by mistake on this. :(

Wow.....I think the second one looks more "real" without the glass treatment. It seems to show a more prominent nose. What's really weird is if you look at it upside down....it's as if it's a completely different monster. OK....maybe I'd better lay off the wine for now!!

Thanks Lana. Keep on the wine, I think a bit more would help us all with creativity. :)

Ha! I have been feeling rather musical Fabs the last few days, been writing some lyrics and nothing better than (one of) my musical idols Mr Dave Mustaine to represent me on this fine forum. I know; I must be whacked outta my brain! :D Sadly, I have only few pics of my musical life of past, none of which would fit (not for inappropriatness, just compe etc).

By the way I love the torn edge look of yours.

Thanks Akos. We are a family of musicians from my mother's side, lots of guitar and piano teachers.
My son, who lives in the UK, is a music instructor, composer and plays a few instruments, he was trained classical, but loves experimental music. I quit piano a long while ago but keep one (Clavinova) at home.
