    I thought that this would be a possible aid to ID'ing Cassin's Finch females as it really shows the streaked undertail coverts.

    Thanks Dan. We don't get this species in the east, at least not regularly. It looks superficially like a female Purple Finch, which makes sense as it is in the same genus.
