This is a portrait of a friend's half wild cat, who only lets very few people close, including me. :) She is beautiful. I captured this portrait of her about a month back including the pretty OOF fall colors in the BG. So in essence the image is simple.

In PS, I did all the normal processing of the master psd file and then converted to web, then applied a texturizer filter with the settings as follows:
    Scaling-110%
    Relief-5
    Light:TopLeft

I have no idea what I can do with effects. Had a quick play with the warping thingy as well last night but I really got in trouble for "wasting" time. :(

    I hope you like Granny.

a very nice portrait with eyes matching the bg. IMO, the texture is nice but it bit
deep on the relief(depth). Try one with sandstone, just as an exercise

Akos, You really did well with this-Dave' idea sounds good too. You could also mask back in the orig. eyes if you wanted to go a step further-But I warn you this stuff is addicting!!!:p Cool looking Kitty!!!

Akos - Denise is right about addicting! The words most often heard by my husband now are "I'll be right there".

    I love the kitty:D

Akos that cat looks like it means business :)

Another warning for the addition ..... btw you can also apply the effect in a layer then play with the opacity !! Neat !!!

I just love Granny. I agree on the amount of texture. Granny is a wonderful model to work with from what I see of her and I can tell that she is all "cat" with that attitude. I also agree on the addictive nature of digital art. Good thing I'm out of school for the summer.

Akos, Lana is right, Granny is really displaying that persona that only a cat has. I agree with the others about the addictiveness of digital manipulation. No matter what your skill level, there is always that inner joy of the final creation. Well done.
