    Default Purple Martins

I went to my friends Marina where he cares for 34 pairs of Purple Martins, their eggs just hatched and I got to see for a glimpse tiny little chicks the size of my pinky finger with their little mouths open -they were ADORABLE!! I took some photos of some of the Purple Martins-but I only had my 24-105 mm lens with me. I will go back for a re-shoot soon!! I want to bring him a picture that has a creative flair to it as he photographs the birds all the time and a straight shot he has. Comments and critiques appreciated.:)

This is really cool Denise. Glad you can go back and reshoot. I very much look forward to seeing images. especially the babes. You could probably make a flock on canvas? :)

    this is a composite?

very nice, the edges are a defining and effective enhancement

I especially like the composition and texture of the BG. Nice to have a top side and under side of the two birds. I also like the size difference in the 2 birds.....a simple image and yet there is a perception of depth. Well done.
