I haven't visited, or posted, something on BPN for what seems like ages. Life seems to be getting in the way of my photography. :(

Anyway here's an image that I composed last week. Normally my friends and I play music every Thursday night but I couldn't make it last week so I decided to create my own ensemble.

This is a compilation of 5 images (using PS masking layers) with the first being just the empty room. After that I changed positions, t-shirts and instruments and took another 4 shots. If there had been enough space I could have added my banjo and bass as well. :D

The light was low so the image has some noise but you get the general idea.

Flash - Flash fired, Compulsory flash mode

Neat! Looks like all of you went for the same shoe sale! :-) I've got to try one of these composites when I have time.

Thanks everyone for you kind comments. It was a fun exercise.

For your information the instruments are from L to R: the Bodhran (Celtic Drum) that I made about 8 years ago, melon-backed mandolin, my beautiful hand-made McConnell guitar and my Celtic Bouzouki.

Thank you Gus, Akos, Judy and John.

Judy, my friends and I have been playing together most Thursday nights for almost 15 years. We've had some wonderful times playing folk, blues, Beatles etc.

Gus, I should also have probably changed sneakers in each shot as well! ;)
