and no, daughter while in the pic, is not counted in as part of the pets. lol

this was taken 5 years ago, and of our 3 cats at the time, only the calico in this photo is still with us. The gray cat had a special place in daughter's heart, and he helped her through some rough times. But those pics, I am not given permission to post. Not a pretty sight. lol

This pic and others photos of the cats were the first pictures taken with our first dslr camera. We probably shot a hundred images before even getting outdoors that first Christmas day. and now I think a couple hundred a day is nothing! :D

We also have our dog still with us --but I don't think we have any images of it and the cats near each other. :)

It looks as if you are in control of this unruly crowd. :)

    Cheryl
They are all quite beautiful and certainly make a wonderful portrait. Now about the second image.......she must be a sister to one of my cats as Leroy has to get right up on the lens.

unruly crowd?????? certainly not here! lol

our cats are so used to the camera lens, that it is sometimes difficult to keep them far enough away to be able to focus, as seen in the second pic.

Actually, I am currently visiting my daughter, and am answering from the computer at the coffee shop where she works....and where she held her first photo show!

Simply beautiful Cheryl and what a great story these images tell. Thanks you so much for sharing and all the background history that went with them.
