    Taken A few weeks ago in some late light.

    Nikon D300 AFS 600 F4 1.4 TC
    1/1000 F6.3 ISO 500

    For me just a touch tight and almost perfect HA. WOW! You nailed this just about. Thanks for sharing. :)

    Pose, sharpness, wing position, eye contact and BG look good. I might try to get more details in the blacks and remove the sheen on the bill.

    ditto trying to recover some detail from blacks and might need a touch more space, but overall this is one excellent photo that I wouldn't mind in my gallery!!

    Agree with Axel about trying to recover detail in the blacks. Overall a great photograph that you can be very proud of.

    The stilt pops from the BG nicely, and super sharp where it counts. Comp wise, I would just take a bit off the top. Great capture James.

    James, this is a real beauty. The pose and that wonderful warm evening light make this shine, excellent flight image.
