One of our smaller bushbirds in Oz. I captured at a private property and used audio replay of their chattering to arouse interest. Though these small birds are generally quite accepting of people close by.

Used some QM and cloning to remove some distracting branches from the BG and cropped around 30% off the original. Hope it's acceptable as is.

Very nice Akos I like the nice eye contact and the pretty bg I see good detail in the bird but I think you could
go another round on your sharpening to bring it out some more.

I like the pose, soft light and BG. I might lower the color temperature a bit and desaturate the yellows a few points.

Interesting choice for the crop here. You did very well. I like that you left space on the bottom
and did a horizontal crop to follow the pose of the bird. I like it.

Nice look from the bird and a pleasing, simple composition. Yellow cast seems a little strong and I might put just a tiny tweak of sharpening/contrast on the eye and bill.

Super comp, as I like the placement of the bird in the frame. Lovely forward pose, with good detail. Great OOF BG too. Well done Aussie mate.
