    I used the D 300 and 200-400 vr at ISO 200 1/60th 7.1 SB 800flash to create this image. The background has been repaired to reduce distraction. Thanks Rod

    Love the braced tail, the pose, the angled nest tree, and the way you handled the filtered light. And the head angle.

    I like the angle, details, eye contact and BG. I would tone down the highlights on the trunk some more.

    This is a great capture of one of my nemesis birds showing the back feather details very well.
