I hadn't played around with my "belly button" technique for awhile so I went back to an image I made this past April of a small african daisy blossom and gave it a double dose of "zoom" blur.

    Canon 40D, EF 100mm f/2.8 macro
    f4 @ 1/60th, ISO 400
    Manual mode, pattern metering, handheld
Processed in ACR and CS4: Small crop, zoom blur @ 25 pixels x 2 rounds, curves adjustment

Pretty smack dab dead center, Jules but it works for me. Nice job. Beautiful color and love the detail in the center.

Centered composition works beautifully here. I love the purple hues, and the orange ringing the center. Nice job!

Very nice, Jules. I especially like the silkyness of the lavender petals.

    Jules,

I like the effect and your color palette. Centered works for me here...
    Thanks for sharing....
