This beautiful lady was painted with a Nikon D3, using a Nikkor 60mm f/2.8D IF-ED macro lens with a Nikkor 12mm extension tube.

When you shoot in RAW it makes no difference the camera settings and by shooting in sRGB the image will look more accurate in the camera's LCD .. just like posting for web in sRGB At the time of converting you can choose your space.
btw this will also apply to other camera settings like sharpening, its not a bad idea to apply a slight amount of sharpening for evaluating ... again it will only affect the jpeg not the RAW.
One other advantage for setting sRGB is a safety factor in recording whites. This space is narrower than RGB and will show blown whites sooner.
At the end no big deal and its all personal choice after knowing the choices.
I guess what messed my thinking up was to me if you are shooting adobe RGB or sRGB you are also shooting jpg. If you are shooting RAW then you are not shooting in a color space. I took your data to mean you were shooting in sRGB therefore shooting jpg.
