While I was taking images of a juvenile Spotted Flycatcher, it's Mom came with a beak full of food. I have got three images where both of them are sharp in focus and I am very pleased with the slight motion blur.
I would love to show you a second one tomorrow to find ot, which one you like more.

Do you think, I should crop it tighter? By now it's nearly full frame.

    Mark III
    500mm + 2.0 TC
    1/400 sec / f 5.0 / ISO 1000

Exposure was a bit difficult and I ended up with a correction of - 2 to prevent the whites from being clipped.

Would be happy to get ideas to improve the image!
    Thanks a lot,
    Rose

I like the framing and would not crop tighter, Rosl. Unless you cropped part of the rock to minimize it, then the corresponding amount from the negative space on the left. The poses and action are superb, only find them a little soft.

Nice actionshot and in an ideal world would like to get Mom in side view while feeding.
I have never had much success in getting a Mom perfect with perfect baby on same image.
Babys head looks OK but Mom appears softer, perhaps selective sharpening ,but may destroy feeling of motion.
    Anyway good action type image.

The interaction, perch and BG look good, I only wish you would have been a bit further to your right for better eye contact. I could see this as vertical crop, too.

I would crop (pretty much the way Fabs suggested). I like the like and the colors. To me, the softness some mentioned actually makes this image looks like a painting !
