For the 2nd year in a row I photographed my grand-daughter Maya at her dance recital with the 70-200 f/2.8 IS L and the Mark III, usually using a very high ISO. This was at ISO 2000.

Thanks Denise. You are on the right track. She is a real ham and acts closer to 20 than to ten.... She is only 7.

Beautiful girl and so fit looking !
Im glad you didnt include yourself on the photo as I did, but I had to keep the 18month old still.
It is great to see our grandchildren grow.
Chas.
Artie, this Bird is lovely in the extreme. Perfect HA, spot on catch lights in her gorgeous eyes, a smile that will go a mile, and she exudes a totally positive attitude. Maya certainly makes carrying your heavy f/2.8 instead of your lighter f/4 worthwhile. We all look forward to your sharing more Grand Kids images in the future - aren't they Grand. Cheers, Jay
You must be so proud Artie. She is a real beauty and that smile would melt anyones heart. Thanks for sharing this special moment with us. !!! Keep us posted !!
