    Default Maya's Dance Recital

    Attached Images Attached Images

For the 2nd year in a row I photographed my grand-daughter Maya at her dance recital with the 70-200 f/2.8 IS L and the Mark III, usually using a very high ISO. This was at ISO 2000.

Thanks Jackie. She is gonna be a rock star. Sam, her older brother (10), likes to photograph birds with me every once in a while.

Thanks Denise. You are on the right track. She is a real ham and acts closer to 20 than to ten.... She is only 7.

Im glad you didnt include yourself on the photo as I did, but I had to keep the 18month old still.

Artie, this Bird is lovely in the extreme. Perfect HA, spot on catch lights in her gorgeous eyes, a smile that will go a mile, and she exudes a totally positive attitude. Maya certainly makes carrying your heavy f/2.8 instead of your lighter f/4 worthwhile. We all look forward to your sharing more Grand Kids images in the future - aren't they Grand. Cheers, Jay
