    D300 200-400 + 1.4TC = 550 (200-400+1.4=550...Huh !? :confused:) on tripod. Manual exposure mode, no flash. ISO 500 f5.6 1/2000s.

    Full frame (Yay !! :D;):p)

    Nice one Desmond :) Beautiful bird, good bg makes the bird stand out well. I wonder if just a 'smidgen' (thats a technical term - LOL) extra canvas top and right would take it out of its almost central position.

    I really like your image, and understand your Yay!! Agree with Tell's comment with giving it more room to fly into. very nice dof. congrats!

    Hi Desmond Real nice capture particularly like the exposure !! Getting under wing detail, carrying a branch and good flight position is always a big deal !! Would agree on a slightly different placement for room up front but do like it as presented and would be a keeper in my files !!!

    Tell .... the unit of measurment 'smidgen' is in the same family but slightly smaller that a 'tad' :)

    I like the capture, image, and composition...I like the fine details in the under wing, the eye is sharp...well done...:cool:

    Love it desmond - great detail in the underwing - a bit more room but Id be happy with it to.

    Didn't know full-frame could have its limitation. :) Guess next time I have to zoom out more or add canvas in pp.

    What if I just crop the left a bit, make it a 8x10?
