Default Big Sur in a Yurt

    Attached Images Attached Images

On a recent trip to California my friend and I stayed in a yurt in Big Sur. The cheapest accomodation at only 225(Cdn) per night:) Not just an ordinary yurt it has pine floors, two beds, a vanity with hot and cold purified water, propane heating, electricity, and a skylight! I don't think I have ever slept so well in months. We had a grand view of the Pacific Ocean as well as Highway 1. Lots of birds, bunnies, and elephant seals around. Will post an outside view tomorrow.

Nice! Is that at Treebones Resort? I was just considering it the other day. Would you recommend it? JR

Default The Real California (Tourist Promo)

    Jackie,

So far you have been giving everyone a tour of the civilized central and eastern part of California. When are you going to visit the real unspoiled true parts of California? The parts that are far north of the Golden Gate Bridge? :)

Artie, this is my friend Nancy who lives outside of San Francisco, and who was nice enough to show me around CA for two weeks.

    Jackie,

That is a very nice yurt. There a few in the Willits area but none quite as nice as that. I'm glad you had such a wonderful time out here in California. your pictures sure show it.

    God bless,

    Chris

What an experience you guys must have had. Think I might be suffering a little envy here. Thanks for sharing this special place with us Jackie.
