    This nursing Hyena lovingly holds her young pup. They have definitely not become my favorite African animal, far from it, but I have gained great respect for their parenting skills. This was a very early morning light image in the Masi Mara. I wished that the pup's eye was more visible, but then it wouldn't be nursing. Hope you like my image.     From where you were, you made the best possible image. We cannot do better than that. The mom's raised head adds lots of interest.
