Hi Desmond - you have chopped his middle toe off :( Some more room at the bottom for my tastes.
Head / Eyes are tack sharp - love the straight down the barrel look and the action. The OOF branch in the foreground doesnt bother me too much. Like where you were heading :)
Great idea Desmond Interested to see the suggestions !!! .... btw love the look on his face :)
Hi Desmond,
I like the capture...agree with Mr. Peters on the cut toe, I also feel that he is a bit tight in frame, especially around the tail area...looking forward to your next one...
I also love the look on its face. :)
Judging by the comments so far, looks like it's not that bad. :D:D Just a bit tight and, of course, the biggie is: "Where did that toe go? " :o:o
I thought it was far worse. Or because some of you are too shy? :)
... my suggestion would have been to hit the delete key but I was waiting for everyone else ... the face is priceless but can't think of what to do with everything else :)
The look on the face is priceless. My original reaction was to suggest keeping it and that of course is an entirely personal decision. Actually, the merge of the beak with the seed pod that is still attached to the plant bugs me more than the o-o-f whatever it is. It it were mine, the clipped toe would earn this one a spot in the trash bin.

With 1.5 terabyte external hard drives going for $130, I would not delete the image! I remember spending $20 for a 250mb Zip disc. Besides, consider it a snapshot of what you were doing that day. Also, when you see the image again, you will be reminded of what you did wrong. I need reminders like that occasionally. You ever hear the expression "nobody is completely useless, they can always serve as a bad example"? I say no image is completely useless....
