    An old scanned slide from the Cozumel are Not as numerous as the moray and a little more feisty. Image made with a Nikon F3 in Acuatica housing and twin SR-2000 Distance to eel was probably under two feet

    Where did you spotted this one? Looks like a nasty dude. Have you done any underwater digital?

    No underwater digital Artie but I'm tempted Can imagine having more than 36 images in one dive ... unless I took a spare camera !!! :)

    Wonderful Al! Just wonderful. Man, if you go underwater digital, you'll run out of air! I guarantee. We were up the Barrier Reef four years ago on a liveaboard trip and I was testing a compact digital for a company (Apollo Australia) and I was going absolutely nuts. It's really insane for the amount of good opportunities and instant results that you can review. Had I have gotten my DSLR in underwater I probably would have still forgotten that birds existed.

    I like the pose of the eel, and I think the colours down below are just amazing. Great capture Al.

    Nice colors. I like the look of the eye and the contrast of the eel with the dark hole he's coming out of.
