    Trying out my new Sigmonster at Crandon Gardens this afternoon.

    Nikon D3, Sigma 300-800mm @800mm, F5.6, 1/1000, ISO 400, Aperture priority, Exposure comp @-1/3, Tripod mounted:eek: Cropped about 25% and sharpened eye

    OH My God ..... got a Sigmonster :D:D One fine lens !!!

    Oscar ... did not see the exp comp but might have used a slow shutter speed .. head is not critically sharp !!! Lots of magnification !!! I have seen what Roman comes up with and should be mighty fine !!!

    Haven't been to Crandon in a while ... last time there were close to fifty of these guys !!! :)

    Hi Oz - welcome to the Sigmonster club :) Will need to brush up on your long lens technique - it is a fine lens.
    Good Ha and eye contact - expecting some stunners now!!!

    Hi Oscar,
    I like the close up pose and the low capture angle...I love these Egyptians...would suggest on cropping from the left side of the frame to off set your goose...and selective sharpen the eye, congratulations on the new toy...:cool:
