One more fly form my outings to the Fruit and Spice Park. Find them fascinating and challenging but at times cooperative. Keep going from max dof to limited .. in this case wanted to minimize leading to the tittle :)
btw got a fly being eaten by an assassine at macro .... neat image !!!

    Comments welcome and much appreciated

Well, common advice in the wildlife photo category is to always, always keep the eyes in focus. I'd say that's definitely the case here. I like the out of focus body, seeing the form instead of the details. I'm on the fence about the in focus purple in the lower left, part of me thinks it takes away from the sharpness of the eyes, part of me likes the addition to the composition.

Hi Al - love the limited DOF - as noted Eyes are Sharp, most important for what we are doing (Same goes for Portraits).
Love the hints of purple - think this also work well as a vertical.

    Hey Mr. Forns,
I like the perspective and the inter play of the depth of Field. The color rendition is very good...
