    Here are a couple of black bear cubs playing in tree also from Yellowstone in June. It was an amazing time for bears as we saw multiple bears every day!

    1/500, F5.6, ISO200, 300 F2.8 (manual focus Tamron)

    How nice Todd. Good Exposure job, black bears in the sun are very hard do and make them look decent.

    I think I actually like it cropped more squarish with the top bear cropped out. Otherwise the bottom guy gets a little lost.

    Thanks for the comments, I wondered if keeping both in frame would be too much. I didn't worry to much as I have several other shots with just one or the other cub.

    I think that the bottom bear makes for a stronger composition as suggested. However given that you created that type of image as mentioned, I think that for the two bear image having the one at the top at least parallel to the camera would have been nice for a bit better eye contact.

    Just played with crop as suggested and you are right, much better comp.

    Love the lower cub, it makes a great image by itself.. In fact I think it would be great to crop out the upper part of the frame and just include the lower bear.
