    “A Lady’s Vail”

    This lovely lady was painted with a Nikon D3, using a Nikkor 105mm f/2.8 IF-ED macro lens, with a 20mm extension tube.

    Image Solution:
    focal length @ 105mm / exposure mode @ aperture priority / in camera matrix metering / 1/60sec. - f/22 / exposure comp @ -0.3EV / ISO @ 1200 / white balance @ custom profile using an Expo disc for color balance / AF - Mode @ manual / color space @ sRGB / lighting solution – ambient light / tone comp @ +1 degree / hue adjustment @ +1 degree / saturation factor @ +1 degree / support platform - tripod assist, with macro focusing rail and remote electronic trigger release.

    Stunning composition Gus! I like that there are no additional colors in the composition-the 2 colors work well together to create some drama! Nicely done.

    Looks like satin Gus. Love the colours and texture of the flower. Love the play of light on various parts of the stem/greenery. Very lovely.
