    Default Brown Peli - Portrait

Spent the weekend mornings out in SW Florida with Maxis Gamez. We had an awesome time. This morning we went to Ding Darling. Even though this is a very common bird, he was there when the light was right. I'm learning not to take the common birds for granted, and just take what nature gives you:

Canon 1DsMII, EF 600mm F/4L, 1/1600, ISO 200, f/4, no flash, off tripod (laying flat in the mud).

I thought the drop of water coming of the beak was a nice touch.

That drop is indeed icing on the cake. You did well laying down, the angle is pleasing.

Like the crop here Bob and a very lovely pose and low angle. The drop of water off the bill is an added bonus . Looks like nice lighting and a great BG. Glad you had a wonderful weekend !!!
