    Default "Say What" Duck

    was laying around the edge of a local duck pond last week and
    this mallard got rather vocal.....something about a good lookin'
    female nearby.

    400mm f/5.6L, ISO 400, 1/200, f/8
    Thanks for looking in and c/c much appreciated..........1/200 ss was a bit slow, but it was a sort of grab shot

    Lovely colors in the water, nice open bill, comp and HA. Exposure is good.

    Very sharp, nice DOF.

    I wonder if this is a 1st year juvi male, since he still has some yellow around the bill.

    In the truly trivial dept., I might clone out the little white spots towards the right frame edge.

    Grab shot.........hmmmm, think I hate you. Love the colour of the water and the sharpness of the overall image. Good details in the blacks too. Really nice Dave.

    Dave, Beautiful details and the open mouth makes it special. The water has a painterly look to it-Nicely done.

    The pattern of the water and open bill make this one for me. Maybe a slightly higher color temperature?

    Very nice Dave I really like the water color it adds to the image and gives it an artistic feel.
