Lovely light and warm tone ! Clear and sharp looking bird with good details ! I have reservation about the oof background at the very top of the image though.

Would you also consider rotating counter-clockwise the image by a degree or so? :)

    Thanks for sharing !!

Thank you Alexander, I love the sparkling vegetation in this one, and the bird too. The reflection was a bit weak and therefor distracting, thus the repost (after leveling the image and adding a bit of canvas top and right to even it out).

I gotta say this, among the folks that photograph with equipment other than Nikon of Canon, you consistently produce the very best images of avian subjects. I mean that as a huge compliment though I am sure that somebody out there will be able to take it negatively.

Oh man, check out that sweet light. Perfect landing pose and excellent surroundings too, very appealing. Artie's tweaks pushes the image even higher.

Wonderfull pose, light, detail, comp, colors and BG, I might be tempted to eliminate the horizon from the shot, still it looks excellent to me. Repost works nicely too.
    Congratulations!

When I first saw this image I was temped to crop it as a pano, Arthur is really fast and did it before. That's a great compo and love this image for been simple yet been intimate.

Fantastic landing pose Alex. The warm light is outstanding and I love the mass of Ranunculus in the water. I like the reflection in the water and would increase saturation just a bit but the horizon line is a bit distracting to my taste. Excelent result with the 2XTC.

Thanks For the compliments and how I love the repost done by Arthur. The photograph becomes much easier to look at but on the other side the reflection makes it a little less sterile.
I also like to thank you Arthur for noticing the fact that my choice to shoot with Olympus isn’t so bad at all. Perhaps I am the only one on this forum bud that is what I especially like…to be a little unique:o

Sweet light, and love the angle of flight. Lovely warm colours, and both comps work for me. Well captured.

HI Alexander, You are welcome. With the reflection broken up by the vegetation it is a big distraction to me, thus the crop :) And yes, unique is good.
