Default iPhone/iPod Touch remote camera control

Here's a link that may interest Canon users. onOne has released software for the iPhone/iPod Touch that can remotely control Canon bodies.

Hi Tony. I don't own the app, but I think it has one fundamental problem. You need to connect your camera to a laptop in order for the iPhone app to work. I think you can do most of this stuff using the bundled Canon software from your laptop, which has to be connected to the camera anyhow. If they came out with an iPhone app that didn't require a laptop, I'd purchase that in a heartbeat!

If it were like the Zip Car app with which you can unlock the car with the iPhone as remote control it would be great.

Yes, I did. I think I will keep my 3G for another year, maybe the next one will have a remote control to make coffee in the morning. :)

Got my 3G S yesterday; couldn't help myself! Much faster than the 3G at app loading and web browsing. iBird Pro loads in 2.8 sec instead of 6.8 sec on my 3G. Voice control is nice.

How much was it, $300? I read they changed their mind on the upgrade price but don't remember the details.

I saw a youtube video showing that the 3GS renders websites much faster, too.

Doug, what are you going to do with the 4 secs you have saved? Don't spend them all in one place!! :D:D
