Instead of the fact that it is a large crop, I like this image a lot. The bird species couldn´t be more cool and beautiful and the light, BG, pose and eye contact are great.

Nice soft light, look back pose, and BG. There seems to be a bit of noise in the black feathers from the crop, but it is not bad. Do you know what percent of full frame this is?

I like it, nice head turn, pose, light, BG, perch and colors, IMO sharpnes recented a bit the crop, but it still looks Ok!
    Congratulations!

Nice work. Too bad about the big crop. Soft light works well for the colors of your subject. If this were'nt a big crop I'd recommend taking away a little bit from the left side of the image, making for a stronger composition (IMO). Also, if this were mine, I'd try to remove that little piece of the stick that's coming close to the right edge of the frame.

Nice photo. Very interesting colour combination for this bird. I like the nice look back pose, sharpness and clear bg. Well done. Dave

I like the light, perch, eye contact and BG. Composition works for me, details look good considering the large crop but I might sharpen the bird a bit more if it doesn't bring out artifacts and might remove the brighter areas in the BG at the top.

You couldnt of asked for a better pose, and you have captured good detail for a large crop. The colours are well exposed, and I agree to move him to the left a bit. Well captured Chris.
