    Hi,
My first steps in the macro photography. I like it a lot! So i'm bit unsure of this one is good enough for the critiques. C&C very welcom, as wel as tips about editing.

I like it a lot and great for your first try !!!

I like the shades of gray and composition, might even make it more into a vertical pano to accentuate the motion. As long as you have the bg far enough that it won't come into play stop down as much as you need.

Anytime you can do go to the extremes for comparison, wide open and stopped down !! Macro is addictive and looking forward to seeing many more !!!

btw for this type image if you are shooting in the sun a diffuser will give you great light !!! Easy to carry and inexpensive !!!

    Hi Thijs,
I like the composition, image and capture, your subject has good sharp details, and the color rendition is great...looking forward to your next one...

Hi - great first try - made a couple of quick changes - cropped to give it more of a pano feel and selectively sharpened the catipillar - just felt a little soft to my eyes.
    Just another option.
    Intresting using a Raynox!!
Cool - looking forward to seeing more.

    Thanks for the comments guy's!
@Alfred, to use a diffuser you first have to own a flashgun to put it on? But a good tip though, i can use the built-in flash and have a piece of paper in front of it. Give's soft light too.
Lance, thanks for the editing. Looks much better!
