Great pose and bg well done. I would light it up a bit and add some space top and right. Nice one well done

Super wing position. Agree on adding room to create a more pleasing composition.

    Scott:

Excellent wing position and although I think the bird is angling ever so slightly away from you, the head is turned back just enough.

On my monitor, the whites are pretty grey. I would set the white point off the brightest whites, which really perks the whites up without altering the background much.

An easy way to identify the spot to set the white point off of is to use levels and curves, pull the highlight slider in until you see blown whites on the highlight screen, then use the first area that blows as your location to set the white point. I use NX2 generally, but am pretty sure you can do the same in CS4.

I agree with Kobus about a bit more room front and top.

    Cheers

    Randy

I like the wing position, details and eye contact. Adding to the other comments, do you have an image in this series with the bird flying toward you?

great pose and detail in this - I'm with Kobus on the space and I like what Randy has done with the whites.

Good job Randy -- I will work on those whites and I like your redo. I have room for a larger crop and can correct that easily enough -- thanks for the comments on cropping.
