I had fun playing with these flowers. Do you think I should tone down the purple on the left side?

Another beauty, Anita! Yes, I'd love to see the area at the top and bottom of the left side as soft as the middle area of that same side. I'd also think about dabbling a bit of the purple over the top of the brighter yellows so they blend a little better.

    Lovely flower and BG!

Hey Anita, very nice comp, love the color wash in the BG. Agree with Jules on the dab of purple over the yellow.

This photo looks almost dreamlike. I actually think the purple tones on the left at the top and bottom of the picture actually add to the picture. It reinforces a non centered image which is a no-no most of the time.

Here is a version with the colors on the left desaturated a bit, and the yellow/green top area with some purple over it. What do you think?

Jules: I meant to write in my first description that I cloned out petals at the bottom of the stalk along the bottom frame. I'm learning. :-)

I really like the repost. The yellow in the original didn't really bother me too much but once it's removed you end up with a new focus on the flower. What a great bg!

Lovely BG. Simple & neat composition.
Like the re-post. Not that original was bad.

I love the soft colors and dreamy feel of both of them. I for one would love to have seen a bit more room at the top.
