I can imagine the fact that I am so ugly that he had to shout the way he did on the moment I took this photograph:o

Very nice image. Lovely action and nice low level.
I find the image a bit pale. As I checked it could be due to the too much reducing highlights which makes the image grey. In Aperture I achieved to get a bright image without hot areas in the flank.
    Anyway I really like it.

    Hoi Alex!

Pretty image for an ugly bird! The eye and the wide open beak and tongue are really great. Blacks on the head don't seem to have much detail - tricky with the black and white head, eh? Otherwise nice detail. Perhaps a little tight on the crop, I would be tempted to give it more space at the tail. BUt what do I know...

Seems to be a run on the Crowned Lapwings/Plovers! Great to catch the alarm call so well. Typical winter grass.

I love it as per Ramon but the black frame and border distract....

Love the pose and expression, low shooting position sets him in the great bg well. Exposure and detail top notch as usual.

I'm with Ramon. Exposure is great. Black on head are very small feathers and I don't think anyone would get detail from it unless you take a head shot. Well done on this

Super exposure and timing! Love the pose and light soft enough for a decent exposure.
