Assignment: Depth of Field - “Earth Tones”

    Note:
This is a multiple exposure consisting of three frames, with a variance in the use of three aperture disks. Aperture disks of f/2.0 - f/4.0 - f/5.6 were used to achieve a layered depth of field matrix. The saturation and the shadows were adjusted to give it a soft dreamy look.

This exotic lady was painted with a Nikon D3, using a Lensbaby Composer, with a +10 macro lens attachment.

    Image solution:
focal length about +/- 50mm / exposure mode @ manual / hand held spot metering. / shutter speed @ 1/125sec. / ISO @ 320 / white balance @ cloudy / color space @ sRGB / AF - mode @ manual / lighting solution - used two speedlights with attached diffusers ; each @ 60 degree angles; speedlights were powered down to 1/4 lumen burst on manual mode, each one behind additional diffuser panels. / exposure comp @ 0EV / tone comp @ +2 degrees / hue adjustment @ +2 degrees / saturation factor @ +3 degrees / support platform - tripod assist - using macro focusing rail / remote electronic trigger release /

    Comments greatly appreciated...

Gus, The earth tones are lovely and the selective focus is great!
