    The main focus seems to be in the back of the bird in stead of his head wich would be ideal, still, you've got great DOF so probably selectively sharpening the head will do.
    I like the pose, the soft light, detail, colors and comp altohugh I am not a fan of square crop (personal taste).

    Agree. Selective sharpening of the head would help. Like the BKGR and do not mind a SQ crop.

    Sharpening mentioned, exposure looks good as well as nice bg.

    Great bird!
    I don't mind the square crop but it looks like a bit more sharpening overall would help.

    Thank you all for your comments and suggestions. I did go back and did a bit of selective sharpening on the head, hope it isn't too much.
