Well, this is my 3000 post in this forum, since the first day I am having a great time, there were some minor exceptions but little issues that will not keep me from participating :) I enjoy too much you suggestions, comments and kind words to leave :)
I would like to thank everybody who has been a real friend and who has helped me improve my images. I am happy to be a part of this community.

Here's a Chmango a I shot today, I had to add a wing tip on top and I wish I had more room to the left, but as I am still working with this guy, there's hope to improve this image in the near future, some may wish for a better eye contact, I don't as I find the pose very sculpture-like and what I like here is preety much that. :) I do wish the leg was not covered by the perch :(
Firstly, congrats on your 3,000! Remarkable: (I'm in the low 50's LOL...hmmmm). Glad you are doing what pleases you most, as that's probably as important as anything. Not a nit, but could add a little canvas on the left, but it is a cracking and beautiful shot!
Thanks Axel, you're right about the greens, about adding canvas to the left I tried and the bird ended up too centered, I'll try adding canvas both ways, although it might end up a bit to square... Thanks!
It's been a pleasure to view your images. Love the positioning on the wings in this capture and the BG. The only thing that I wish for is some eye contact. I await future images of this gorgeous creature.

:D, I was not referring to you Artie, I mean it, despite the differences of opinion we've had, I have always learned something from our discussions, sometimes I didin't necessarily learn about photography, but I did learn how passionate you are about photography. I believe that the forum format allow us all to talk about a lot of things and subjects and the fact that we've not always been in the same track it doesn't need to mean something bad at all :)

I don't participate in the birds section often, but I love your images. Especially the one you had posted in the wildlife section, the Vicuna image. I love this image a lot and have book marked it.

the BG is very very sweet, and I love the 'sculpture' pose. yeah eye contact missing but all shots are different and this is a special shot. congrats on 3000, me being new to this site - I am enjoying it a lot.
