    Default Pintail x Mallard Hybrid

this is one really strange but also really beautiful duck :)
He was on the same pond all the time, but it took me about 6 months to get a decent shot of him :)

Just realized how abnormally large head he has. Awesome xrid bird. :)
The image itself is very nice with that angle, sharpness and techs. I am expecting that of you :D

Stunning, just amazing light, pose, detail, colors, BG and comp, love the low angle, I would only suggest to remove the reflexion of the neck in the water near the body as I find it to be a tad distracting. Big congratulations!

Well worth it as that is one strange, strange bird. Perfect EXP, SH, and COMP. Wish only that the head had been turned a bit towards you. With that Pintail body you would expect that long low look rather than stocky, but stocky it is.

Ditto all Arthur said. I also would clone out the reflection. Great light exposure and low angle. Great shot

Super low angle. Personally I think if the reflection was cloned out it would look unnatural.
    Worth the effort for this.

Brilliant detail and colours, and getting wet was well worth the effort. I would leave the reflection too.

Since Ramón wrote about reflection cloning everybody mentioning that 'distraction'. I wonder what kind of comments would have received if Ramón had not mentioned it before. Somehow weird.
