This is a Winter visitor to India, We also have a resident race of the peregrine in India known as the Shaheen Falcon. Was lucky to get him on the ground.

Good looking bird with a nice pose. I just spent a couple of days photographing a family of Peregrines in California; what a great experience! I might add a little more canvas on the right.

Very lucky to have it on the ground. Super light and like the eye contact.

Lucky man. Having one of this guys so close to you in Spain is almost impossible... well, it is impossible ;-)
How did you get so close to the bird? Car? Hide? just curiosity. I like the neat eye contact of the bird, the soft light and the low angle. Composition works very fine to me.

Great angle, pose and details. I would lighten the eye and maybe sharpen the shadows a bit less so that it does not bring out noise.

Thank you all for your Valuable inputs and suggestions.

Doug: I add some space on the right but it looked too much so I let it be.

Juan: Its difficult out here too, but not impossible. I made this from the car. come over sometime.

    Axel: sure will try that.

    Thanks again..

    Regards,

    Kiran

Fabulous as noted above. My only suggestion would be to selectively lighten the dark areas of the face just a bit....
