    This might be the best I have seen of a male Bailon's. Would love to read more about the background of this cool finding.
    The sharpness, and framing is very nice. Sharpness is on face. Cool indeed.

    Good exposure sharp, and good job on getting such a rare species. I would lose some of the space at the bottom.

    Dennis, sharp with good detail and colours. Comp wise, I would leave the bottom, but take a little off the top. I would also tone down the brighter part of the dead reed, just behind the tail.

    Stunning Bird! Image a bit busy but im sure you are happy to have gotten this image of a very rare bird!
    Agree with Stuart regarding dead reed.

    Great find, good details and good to see one in the open. I only find the yellow blade of grass behind the bird a bit distracting.

    I know how hard it can be to find a Crake, forget about taking a picture of it!
    You were very lucky and got a great picture of this fellow. I agree about the yellow blade of grass but that is minor. jc

    Gorgeous Baillon's for sure! This has to be my favorite crake species. Well spotted and techs are looking very good in my humble opinion. :)
