    I tried for making this 5 week old Eurasian Eagle Owl baby look as large zs possible.

    Cropped off the bottom, and a little off the top and right side.

    I hope to have this opportunity again tomorrow. Hopefully, the babies will be outside.

    How can I improve here?

    Change the bg and slight fill flash Cheryl !!! Crop wise its a little tight on the right side btw I like the dof you are getting with that short lens !!! ... one cute bird !!!

    Cheryl, Really cute little guy. Agree w/ tightness on right and different BG. I really like that you were able to get the feet,also the curious pose is awesome!! Good Luck tomorrow!!

    Agree with the techs, love the big feet and overall pose. Needs to be turned a little CCW.

    yes, it is too tight. but either tight or include the table leg and my pant leg. lol

    I hope to be able to use your suggestions tomorrow. hopefully the weather holds so we can go outside, but rain is in the forecast.

    cheryl, agree with al. change the bg. can see this on all types of different cards with different captions!! really cool pose and tack sharp!!! lots of possibilities here!

    Harold, I really really wish I could have changed the background. but unfortunately, this was actually the best background available. :(
