Super stuff. Like the perch its on, with the placement of the OOF perch. Like the composition and exposure is good. Light a bit from the side but not a bad thing. You handled this situation well!

Ditto everything Mark said. Great shot.
I would maybe take out the branch in front cause for me it has no purpose. Well done on this

Composition works fine for me but I find the out of focus pine nedles at the right very distracting. Very good singing pose and BG. the light is a bit harsh but you did a goog job considering the light conditions. ;-)

Nice perch, singing pose, and colors. I don't like the OOF pine needles, and the light angle is not ideal.

    Hi Paul.
I don't know this species in person but I will tell you that I love it. Great singing pose, perch and BG.
I gave it a try in PS just to see how it would look as a vertical compo.

    Thanks for the comments everyone.

Very nice Juan, when I first processed this shot I chose vertical comp, but wow, your version is so much better than my original.
    Thanks for the inspiration!

To me the original post is better as it has much more room. I would've used flash as light angle was not the best, but still, nice pose, perch, BG, detail, and colors. Congratulations!

I agree with you 100% Ramon, but in the original, with the oof vegetation the image suffers because of that.

Both comps work for me, if in the original post, you cloned out the OOF foliage ( easily done) Super pose, perch, and well timed to capture the open beak.
