I like the pose of the eagle. I do wish the right wing had more separation from the perch though. On my monitor, it looks like the eagle could use some more sharpening, and I think a little bit of shadow/highlights adjustment may help the darker areas, too. Good capture nonetheless !

Oh, one more thing: I think I would crop a bit off the right :)

Nice shot, a little tight at the top for me, maybe add some canvas. I agree with Desmond, try shadow/highlights maybe levels/curves to bring out mid-tones in the body. If you have LRII, it has a pointer that can brighten selective areas. Going forward, it is helpful if you provide some workflow detail as well thanks for sharing.

    William:

I agree with the tech comments from Desmond and Jeff. To my eye, the bird was under exposed. Perhaps another stop of EC plus. I tried to bring up the dark areas, but all I got was noise, just not much data in there.

It is always a challenge with a dark/light colored bird like this, then throw in shooting against the sky.

The pose is nice, just a bit earlier or bit later to eliminate the wing merge would be nice. I like the perch.

Thanks for sharing. If you have any other ones in this series that you like, please share them.

    Randy
