One of better efforts from a trip to Flatanger, Norway in the summer

Personally I like the "painterly" effect of the dark background contrasting with this beautiful bird.

I'm sure this image has potential but it looks very underexposed as presented.

Nice image. I love the topshots and the water coming off the wing is a plus. I would prefer the bird coming into the frame instead of being nearly past you, a small nit. It is definitely too dark on my monitor too.

I like the dark BG, but I would selectively lighten just the bird. I think this has potential to pretty powerful.

I like it. The bird's face at the very least needs to be lightened. And the head is ever-so-slightly turned away...

I like this image, but the bird is too dark overall, especially in the face. I think if you lighten just the bird, it would be a more powerful and very graphic image.

Thanks guys. It is odd - I must have some colopuor space issue going on here as the image is definitely brighter in its original form. I will have to investigate
