This Impala is one of the most common of the smaller antelope/buck in South Africa. It is widespread in most game reserves, and a popular meal for the carnivours to capture and eat. They are extremely fast runners, and often swerve and change direction at an instant, thus escaping from their hunter. I liked the the light in this, as it was late afternoon. The BG is natural as is. Taken in the Kruger National Park.

Exposure and Aperture is just so perfectly setup and the light adds a lot. sharpness and warm touch with superb DOF adds extra mile. Congratulations on this wonderful capture.
Stuart,
Really nice portrait here. Nice warm tone, excellent detail (nice job on the eye), and I really like the curve of the horn running on the same line as the hump in the back.
