Nice action. I would prefer a bit more room bellow and less above.
Not sure about the stick. That was the first thing I looked at instead of the bird.

I agree with Gyorgy. I would either remove the stick, or include more of it if you have it. Focus point seems to be on the near wing - perhaps some selective sharpening of the face would help there. Head angle is slightly looking away. I love the wing position, and the curled primaries. I also like the sublte golden colours on the near wing. Looks like an impressive bird :-)

Repost looks much better. Head is sharper and more "attention gathering". I feel it helped to remove the stick. It is an impressive looking bird. Dave

Interesting pose and the repost makes it better. Have you tried using fill flash in a situation like this?

Thanks Axel I've not tried it ever also i don't have any flash gun with me except the inbuilt camera's flash.
This one is cropped and i dont think inbuilt flash would reach such range.

Mital, I like the forward wing position, forming the shape of an umbrella. I like the light and detail on the nearer wing, and maybe a + EC would have helped. Your repost works well.

Do you have any more of the image at the bottom and the right hand-side, giving the bird somewhere to land now you taken the branch away?

I prefer the repost, and I'm loving the detail in the feathers on his back.
