    Default Catbird

I like this way she is "modeling" her dress of gray feathers. I have the reverse pose as well - can I post both?

    George:

Your catbird is well exposed, sharp, nice head angle.
Depending on what your vision for the image is, you might consider a different crop. The bright area to the left tends to capture our attention. If the environment is important for you, consider toning down the brighter areas
If you want to highlight the bird, crop in from the left. I would consider going in just shy of the vertical branch and also cropping down from the top about 1/3 of the space above the bird.

Generally you should not post two different versions of the same image in the same thread. Reposts of the same image with a different crop, or other adjustments, are fine.

    Thanks for sharing.

Nice soft light, and look back. I like the loose crop, but there is just a little too much clutter in the u-r-c.

    Keep them coming.

Lovely pose on the bird, George. I would clone out the bit of branch on the lower right side of the frame. I'd also take some off the left and top to give the bird more room in the image and eliminate some of the excess light areas & clutter.

    Hi George

Would be nice having the tech info !!! If you had the focal length would have gone tighter and framed the bird on the left side while he is looking right. Lots of negative space without interest on the left side as presented.

You do need to wait 24 hours to post another version here or can post now in ETL !!!
