Well done. I like the image design, the SH, and the two HAs. The whites could go a bit brighter, I think.

You are correct, pixels ramp down fast well before the brightest stop. I know to keep it right, but it is sometimes hard when the image contains a light tone, I need to trust the data.

I have read that 75% of the levels of tonality that an image holds are within the brightest two stops of light intensity. (WWW.Outdoorphotographycanada.com - Spring/Summer - p50)

Beautiful position on the two chicks, Jeff! Love the crossed necks...that's great...I had to look twice to make sure I saw it correctly!

Jeff, Trust the histogram and the flashing highlights. 50% of the data is in the fifth box to the right so the 75% for the two boxes sounds about right.

I like the opposite poses from the two little guys, and both have good detail. Well captured.

Remember the image and liked how you were setting up for multiples !! More difficult to make !!

Nesting images from the farm are difficult because of the bg clutter, I like the feel of this one and including part of the parent gives it a special look !!!! Big Congrats !!!

Thanks Al, if not for you it would have not happened, remember it was your lens (smile).
