I was in Florida in Jan and met Fabs and Al at this lake for sunrise. It wasn't much of a sunrise so the Forns brought up the idea about doing zoom blurs which I hadn't done before. I tried a few and was surprised at the effects you could get. For this image I converted to B/W added a Nik gradient on the top and painted in the color on the bottom.I burned in the very top..
I'm definately undecided how well this works so I would like opinions(as usual)

Dave, I like it alot-I just feel that the slight diagonal line in the dark blue area is forcing my eye to see crooked-Make any sense? But I love the colors and the zoom effect!!

    Dave,

I think Denise's PS work has really helped. Do like the colors and symmetry in this one.

Dave it does look like a really good zoom blur, which I have yet to master. I feel this image needs just a little something more, but can't quite put my finger on it ( I am in the minority I'm sure):)

Actually Jackie I don't think your wrong in that assumption. I wasn't sure either and wanted others opinion. I just couldn't figure out what to add...

Fantastic zoom blur, Dave! You managed to get enough definition while still blurring the entire scene. It's lovely.
