self-critique - i wish i had been more to my left to eliminate any shadows on belly, but i choose my position to get as low as possible. the ground to my left rose dramatically. i also find the little sunbursts on in the foreground seaweed a little distracting.

    thanks in advance!

IMHO this is a fantastic image along with belly visible. the oof bubble sparkles adds a lot more.
    Exposure also just perfect.
need a little bit of NR on bg.
    fantastic image.

Lovely image. I like it. If I would change a thing is toning down the white circles.
Angle and the pose is very nice.

Great pose and a nice low angle. I think the subtle sidelight works just fine. I would tone down the OOF white spots in the FG and perhaps remove the dark spot behind the bird's head.

Scott, you have exposed the sandpiper nicely, sharp, with good detail. Good DOF, and I would tone down the light spots in the FG.

Lovely photo Scott. The bird is nicely placed and very sharp. The contrast in colours between fg and bg really caught my eye right away, and the bird stands out as a contrast to those colours. Well done. Dave

very nice shot, I like the low angle and lighting.
The white highlights on the bottom distract a wee bit, toning them down would help.
