    thats really beautiful shot Jan.

do you have more of bottom which shows full head in reflection ?
would be nice if you have and may add that.

sharpness and colors are so brilliant as well the DOF.

should have clone out that round dark patch on right top.

no there's not more room and again, taht's why I try to avoid reflection, however, I think it also works with the cut reflection here. I's not that nice anyways :)

Beautiful image. I don't feel the need of the reflection. It would destroy the fine details.
I am not sure why reflection is desired so heavily by photographers. The bird itself is so beautiful and striking.
    Very good job Jan.

Love the alert pose, beautiful water, and the nicely visible tuft. I don't mind the incomplete reflection. I would clean up the dark area in the URC and also the water in front of the duck.

I like the light and colours in this, and what a striking eye. This may need a very slight CW rotation.

    Jan:

Very nice. You held the whites well while maintaing excellent detail in most of the blacks, nice use of flash as well.

It does help with the critiques if you include full exposure data as well.

    Thanks

    Thanks Jan:

It really does help us learn and critique to have the details.

    Cheers

well done Image.. loved the colours, pose and detail on this one.. My personel choice would be a little more room on top with lesser room at the bottom..

    Nevertheless a beautiful image..

Jan, its a beautiful image, nicely exposed and very sharp. Am not sure about others but I would definitely crop a bit from bottom and try to leave more space at the top.

    Lovely duck indeed.
Great job getting this one Jan. I agree about the URC, is a little distracting. Some cleaning in front of the bird would be good too.

The comments on this image show how diverse tastes we have. One would love to see a full reflection while others would eve cut more of it :)
Nice experience. This just tells you: follow your way... ;) :D

The Tufted is a rare bird around these parts but I've been lucky to see them a couple of times.
Beautiful shot, I like the comp and don't mind the loss of reflection too much.
The spot in the upper right corner could be dealt with.
