    Eric,
    I like the texture in the tree. Nice colours. I would have tried composing only the bird on the right. The present composition with the two birds guides the eye into the vacant space in the image between the birds. I would also try an abstract without the two birds. Thanks for sharing.

    love the title Eric, and very nice colour tones. agree on Sabyasachi's point on confusing the eye.

    Lovely colors, and if the bird on the left was turned to the left in the same plane as the right bird, it would have been great. As is, I struggle with the composition. Sharp and well exposed.

    I agree with the other comments. Also it looks like you may need to tweek your settings when saving for the web as the background looks...I forget the word for it now...but the graduations are not very smooth in the tones.

    Not sure if you uploaded another version in the last 20 mins or so but the background doesn't look weird anymore!

    I like the idea, light and details but find the BG a bit distracting.
