    Caught this Black shouldered kite at a moment when it cleaning up the meat bits stuck to its talons after It tore up a rat and ate it.

    spec:1/640, F 8, ISO 400, -2/3.

    Canon 40D + 500mm F4 +1.4TC

    Nice moment captured, well exposed, sharp, good BG.

    A bit more room on the left would be nice, balanced with an equal amount on the right. Just don't like the tail crowded quite so much. I would probably burn the broken end of the perch so it doesn't stand out so much.

    Be sure to include your camera and lens info (what lens). It helps in the critiquing.

    Nice repost. I might personally go with a tiny bit less canvas on top, but that is really just a personal choice.

    Like the added space, but I feel its a little too much. Super BG, light and image well exposed!

    I prefer the repost over the original and love the action in the image. Fantastic BG and shooting angle. Man this one is killer!
